Each Practice has been approved and undergoes regular reaccreditation for GP Specialist Training by Health Education England North West. This rigorous process ensures GP Practices deliver high quality training and education to all our GP Specialist Trainees.

There are a wide variety of practices, from those situated in the town centre areas to those in more rural settings.

Specialist GP Trainees are appointed to an individual GP Trainer who will act as their Educational Supervisor throughout their 3 year training programme. They have overall responsibility to supervise their training during this 3 year period. Trainees will also spend 12 months in their GP Practice in ST3.
